The founders of Sapient Perception have spent years building the technologies and products that power advanced sensing. Before founding Sapient, they spent four years building and commercializing the highest resolution UAV cameras used in geospatial and industrial applications.

Working closely with drone manufacturers and operators around the world, they repeatedly encountered the same challenge: sensors could capture more data than ever, but lacked the ability to turn that data into actionable intelligence in real time. Sapient was founded to solve this problem by combining ultra-high-resolution sensing with intelligent edge processing, unlocking new capabilities for autonomous platforms.
